Oatmeal and apple pancakes
Today I come to you with a second oatmeal pancakes recipe. This one has less calories than the one with banana. The protein/carbs ratio is 1/2 so it’s a perfect post-training meal and a very good breakfast too. If you wish to, you can prepare plenty of them and froze them so that you don’t waist time everyday.
Ingredients for 13 small pancakes
- 2 cups oatmeal
- 2 cups egg whites (15)
- 3 tbsp low fat cottage cheese
- 2 tbsp agave syrup
- 2 small apples, peeled and grated
Recipe
Put all the ingredients into a large bowl and mix until the oats are softened.
Use a laddle to pour the batter onto a preheated griddle or a pan, making 2 or 3 small pancakes, and cook until air bubbles appear on the surface. Flip the pancakes over and cook until golden or brown if you like it.
With those quantities, I made 13 small pancakes. You can add some agave or mapple syrup or some sugar-free jam.
